Needle-Points – A (Maybe) Better Way To Use Threads

Meta’s “Threads” social media “Twitter” replacement isn’t a bad tool for the job. It does have it’s quirks though. So, as I figure things out, I’ll be adding them to a series of blog posts called “Needle Points“.

So, let’s talk about the web browser interface and something I’ve personally found super useful in my day to day. That is, the ability to “pin” things to your view page.

This is the secret sauce to the whole thing, and let’s be honest here, the ergonomics are terrible.

The default view is always “For You” and it’s almost always the last content you are really there for. We’d rather see the stuff from people we’ve followed. So let’s change that.

Go ahead and click that thumb-tack.

Now pick “Following”. You’re done.

Add another column! I like having the Activity visible as well.

And now you should have :
