“Beautiful,” Arietta breathed. The vegetation was a full canopy here, with towering palms, massive ferns, brilliant flowering vines, and host of other vegetation in a rainbow of colours. Shafts of sunlight danced a dappled waltz on the leaves and water.
“Well,” Blackheart said, breaking the awed quiet. “It would seem we have found what we came searching for.” He led them around the edge of the pond to the door of the alabaster structure.
